Working with Passion

It is difficult to imagine for myself that on May 2nd it will be three (3) years I have been "Working with Passion" and establishing the Arts Under one Roof. Finally I have a HOME.....SPAF. My energy level is still high, my May is at my side and I have 2 wonderful partners who see my same vision. The many great people I have met have remained loyal and helpful. I am truly a fortunate individual. On the way here I have certainly LEARNED some valuable lessons. Most I will use as just reminders and not anything else. I live today as the present and enjoy all the marrow of this moment....there is no NEED to look back.
Thanks to everyone who I have met on this journey and thanks ahead of time to the many wonderful people I will meet in the future. Thanks for listening!

The Team...

Establishing a Performing Arts Center is a joyous undertaking. The people you meet and the experiences you handle on a regular basis really make you grow and develop. My training as an educator has been very helpful in this venture. We truly are the sum total of all our life experiences. I can see all of the needs before me and as I prepare each aspect for the facility certain people come to mind and are a perfect fit. Since we are bringing all the arts "Under one Roof" I need people from various genre's to lead the group. At this time we have 10 areas we are working on: Theatre, Opera, Jazz, Cabaret, Visual Arts, Applied Arts, Film work, Dance, Cooking and Youth Art.
As we open our facility it will be easy for the public to see and feel the energy of the ARTS! SPAF has the honor and privilege to bring to the Saugerties community a venue that will showcase many of the fabulous artists we have right here in our own neighborhood. The support we seek is basic and certainly fits into the philosophy of the area: "The Hudson Valley is a Jewel" and we want others to see that for themselves.
As we get closer to our first event please be in touch and let us know how you feel about our Performing Arts Factory. We are working on our website and many things are happening before our Grand Opening.
Thanks for Listening....

Where do I begin?

Hi Friends,
I have not posted in months and feel a little rusty...almost like spring training. My journey is continuing thanks to two new people in my life and of course the many who have marched with me. Erica and Gerard Price have allowed me to continue my journey to bring "The Arts Under One Roof". They have formed SPAF II LLC. and have made me the Operations Manager of this amazing facility. They have generously allowed me to develop 21,000sf of their 55,000sf building (the other side is for their business USA Uniforms Inc.) and bring the arts together. This outstanding 1914 building is now home to: theatre, opera, jazz, cabaret, dance, art, cooking and has been certified as a sound stage. Our new partnership is a MIRACLE!!!!!
I will start to update everyone with information and events as we become more settled. Thanks to everyone for your kindness and blessings. May and I feel very much at home at SPAF and hope to see many of our old and new friends at SPAF'S future events. Thanks for Listening!
